Blue Planet at Kala Ghoda Arts Festival
The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, Mumbai’s iconic nine‑day celebration of art, culture, and heritage, transforms the city’s streets each January–February into a vibrant open‑air gallery. This free, multi‑disciplinary festival not only showcases creativity but also supports the restoration of heritage buildings, museums, galleries, and cultural spaces across the precinct.
This year, Blue Planet was invited to curate and conduct workshops on Sustainability, engaging citizens and visitors in interactive sessions designed to spark awareness and inspire change. The engagement with the public generated awareness about sustainability in urban life, empowering citizens to adopt regenerative practices while embracing ecological responsibility.
Hands‑on Learning: Participants explored eco‑friendly practices through creative, participatory activities.
Mindset Shift: The sessions encouraged reflection on everyday choices and their impact on the planet.
Community Impact: By blending storytelling, design thinking, and regenerative practices, it fostered dialogue on how individuals can contribute to resilient futures.
